My trip to Western Pennsylvania and New York in May 2023 was fun, interesting, and informative. I learned so much about my Larson ancestors and also loved the immersion into a very fascinating part of the country, rich with history, texture, personality and natural beauty. For those interested in the places my sister and I went, I offer a few maps that attempt to show how we crisscrossed the area over a period of 6 days and the towns we visited. My notations may be a little hard to read, but you get the idea.

I highly recommend visiting the area if you can. Lots of camping, hiking, waterways and history to soak up! As well as wineries, local breweries and beer gardens, fun restaurants, local music and art and cute, historic downtowns.
