Fun Old Timey Logging Video

Here is a logging video I found on YouTube. It was filmed in the 1920’s, pretty near the end of the boom of logging in Pennsylvania, and after the introduction of some technologies that moved the industry away from reliance on horse teams to move the logs and bark. But it captures the spirit of the early logging industry and was filmed near Sheffield, the part of Pennsylvania where my great grandfather and his brother John lived for a few years before switching careers and becoming a small business owner. The person who compiled the video also added old logging songs to accompany it. Enjoy!
